Yes, they said I can keep it. Thank God!!.

I hope your son's stay safe. So far it's been raining quite a bit. Probably gonna see some flooding soon.

So I had to re-validate FMCSA clearing house through Driver Pulse for Ashley PNW. Why?? I have no idea.

I assume it's kinda like going to work for a new company, but at the same time I'm still with the same company.

Anyhow, my new dispatcher said everything is good and we will get rolling again on Tuesday.

Vacation was awesome! Now gotta go back to reality ...:biggrin_25523:

Off and running in my new adventure with Ashley PNW.

First load was business as usual. Picked up a pre loaded trailer of furniture out of our DC in Redlands ca. and delivering it in Henderson CO. at our drop yard for our LTL/ TL multi stop drivers to deliver.

They gave me a different fuel card and new contacts (office personnel) that I will be working with. I'm going to miss my original planner and office personnel. I will still see them once in awhile but they will no longer be my go to for business out here on the road.

I now have a new planner, breakdown, safety and compliance team.

My truck stays the same and I will continue to park in the same place and use the same maintenance shop for hometime etc..

I am also supposed to transfer to a new system on my peoplenet device but that is not working out at the moment

Had to run most of the day yesterday on swindle sheets.. :D (paper logs).

I didn't realize it at first that I was supposed to have a new system on my device. I logged in yesterday with my original driver number but mid day was instructed to try and update my device with my new driver ID. It's not working and now it doesn't recognize my new ID or my old ID. :biggrin_25521:

So, for I'm now going to have to run without electronic logs. No biggie.. might need a refresher course tho on paper logs. It's been awhile lol..

    Keep on trucking..

PS. I bought a new dash cam last week, so hopefully, I can share some video clips in the future.

Chillen like a villain over here at Little America, in Wyoming. Reminds me of the days driving for ShipEX few years ago. We pretty much lived on the I80.

So after the Henderson CO. drop, they had me pick up an empty and start deadheading to Salt Lake city, UT.

Once there, I'm picking up a load, looks like some sort of beverage load, and heading to a drop yard in the Lathrop area.

So far that will be roughly 2200 miles this week. That is about the top mileage I use to get in my previous position, and there will be about 400 miles to go to get home after that Lathrop drop.

Looking like approximately 2600 to 2700 miles for the week. So if they continue to keep my pay structure the same, (as they said they would). Looks like it will be a good week.

Still, way to early to tell, but if this continues, it's looking like an increase in miles here at AshleyPNW. Which will translate into working a little harder and making a little more mullah :biggrin_255:

    We will see...

I saw a ShipEx truck while I was on my trip to get my car. Had been a long time since I had seen one. Oh the good old days my friend!
