Just about to complete another week here at AshleyPNW. Went up to Chehalis WA with that 2 part pickup out of Compton. Then grabbed a furniture load (preloaded) at our yard in Portland, heading back to Redlands CA.
Running back and forth on the I 5 has been lucrative, but unfortunately this still is not my cup of tea.
It reminds me alot of working at Schneider, as a company driver back in 2011, except I'm getting paid a lot more. That position then was called the otr 11 Western. Not saying it was a bad thing, to some degree, trucking is trucking, right!
I just prefer more of the private fleet type of work at ADS. Plus there's a lot more support, ease and consistency there.
They said yesterday my transfer back over to ADS wasn't completed yet, so not sure what's happening next week.
Maybe another run to Washington, what do you think? Im a I5 junky at this point..
