My Daughter Jamie used to live near that Petro. I would meet her there for lunch when I would do dog food runs. I always slipped her a 50 and tell her to have a few plays on me. She is a good kid.

Back up in Reno. Just sitting in a door waiting to get loaded.
This week started off with a run to Sparks, with a backhaul out of Reno to Mira Loma.
They had some fierce winds coming out of Reno on 395 South prohibiting Trucks.
So I had to turn around and come back down around onto alt 95, to route 6, and then 395.
Slowed me down for a minute but that was better than waiting for it to clear.
I know trucks were waiting around at the TA for the weather to improve.
I think I80 over Donner was messed up too with snow and slow, plus chaining up.
Keep it safe,
Roll on!Speed_Drums, dwells40, JForce28 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Did TTR change something? It's seems to be more difficult to add a profile picture.
Looks like profile needs to be a 200×200 now? Maybe it's just me, but didn't notice that before.
I also wanted to add more video and that's not working out very well either.
Oh well, I will figure something out.Last edited: Jan 10, 2024

Delivered in Mira Loma, took my MT back to the yard, picked up a load to Vegas. Dropped that, now deadheading back to Redlands.
Productive day.. love when that happens
Today we are starting off with just a little bit of the white stuff.lol..
Speed_Drums and Bumper Thank this. -

Once I got to Baker it was all clear.Knucklehead, Bumper and drvrtech77 Thank this. -
After my deadhead back, I was dispatched to our Phoenix drop.
While in route, Ka boom! Blow out! In my right side mirror I see debris flying everywhere
You know those brand new tires I was showing you earlier? Yep, they are retreads ..
The tread just flew off, meanwhile the tire itself stayed inflated.
No figure!
Oh well.. definitely delayed my progress. I was running right on time, but unfortunately by the time they got it fixed, I couldn't make it there.
So that ended up delaying the next driver because this was a relay for an LTL/multi stop driver. That sucks. But there's only so much time in a day..
I delivered it first thing in the morning ASAP. Deadhead back, then home for the weekend.
It's good to be back!
Keep on trucking!Rugerfan, Speed_Drums, dwells40 and 1 other person Thank this. -
