So did someone buy the old Wilson logistics yard in Portland? And all of the trucks?

    Bumper and atruckr Thank this.

Ahh that sucks man.. I really don't know what they were thinking or trying to do when they bought Wilson logistics Western division. They had me going over there for some pilot program I wasn't having nothing to do with it. I just don't get it. ADS is much better if you can find your way over here.

    Lonesome and Bumper Thank this.

As far as I know we kept the equipment I don't know what happened to the yard. I could probably find out though. If I do I'll let you know.

    Knucklehead and Rugerfan Thank this.

34-hour reset—done and dusted! Now rolling out of Santa Fe Springs, hauling motor oil up to Stockton. Reset felt short but sweet!

Whipped up some baby back BBQ ribs for the wifey—slow-cooked to perfection with baked potatoes and corn on the cob. Fall-off-the-bone goodness! And yep, packed some for the road—lunch is about to be good....!

That Portland yard shut down for good last April. Not sure what happened with all the trucks. Then the Missoula, MT yard shut down in October. I guess the writing was on the wall.

Yeah a buddy of mine switched over to ADS a few months ago. He said it was marginally better, but he’s leaving now for ABF. The last few months I’ve just been running the regional loads out of the hubs (ecru, Arcadia, Leesport, Advance) and I’m not crazy about it. The only DC I’d even consider relocating near is Arcadia, but I think I’ll pass.

I hear ya. Especially if you are an OTR guy Ashley is probably not the best choice. I like being home now once a week so it works out good for that.

    Lonesome Thanks this.

Gotta love LA—30 minutes to go 12 miles, and to top it off…they packed me up heavy on the rear axles with no room to slide! ⚖️ Now I gotta back to the shipper through traffic and have them fix their mistake. o_O #TruckerLife 20250218_143115.jpg 20250218_143100.jpg
