I have a 2025 Freightliner cascadia The Kenwood radio on the dashboard lets me connect Android Auto from my phone using a USB but when I try using Google maps or Waze I get a message pop up saying Android Auto navigation is not available in this vehicle. I am able to see Google maps and waze but when I plot a course I get that pop up. All other Android auto features seem to work okay with it. I've spoken to two mechanics and neither had a clue. Is there a workaround for this issue.
If you're tempted to lecture me about the Google maps not being compatible with trucks please hold back.
