Jim Andrus is the cheapest business owner ever. Driver pays for everything , load locks, broom , air hose , renewing cdl, hazmat, dot physical and U.A. ,. Plus low pay. Andrus is a bunch of liars and crooks . Every truck driver has worked at a company that is a total night mare. I have worked for good companies and bad . With my 14 years of driving I simply want to say stay away from Andrus . Its a terrible company to work for .

Finished with Andrus...I'm not going to give warm fuzzy comments this time or say everything smells like roses there in Saint G! There dedicated runs here are okay...Home every night if you live there. I live 80 miles away so on one dedicated run I did, I rented a room...worked out fine but could not keep running a split seat with someone who wouldn't do the night shift every other week. We called Hell week for a reason! I gave in and ran night pretty much for 6-7 months but decided being the senior driver, why am I not driving day shift...Anyway, long story short, I gave notice too relocate and go with another company but later fell thru so I stayed with Andrus and took over another dedicated route which ran 510 miles a day, paid 498...Here is where the kicker comes in! I get my check and it is short 249 miles for a dead head...Now, I went thru this issue before being shorted on checks for 5 weeks straight prior to this time...I told them I would not once ever put up with it again or I'm done! Well, there is always an excuse...How do you explain everyday you run 498 miles, 5 days a week and 2498 total and only paid 2241? They told me it was cuz I started the new route blah blah blah and the dead head is not counted because it lands on a certain day...some crap I don't even remember the details because I was so P.O'd! Need less to say...I kept my word and have decided to use this big can opener I have and open a big can of worms because I don't want anyone else to go threw what i did! Its not fair and they know it! Voodoo Book keeping in payroll and shaving miles for their own personal gain is ludicrous! To sum it up, I'm not happy with the outcome I thought would be my last choice on who I drive for till retirement. Andrus, time to stop playing the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and do people on payroll right! Ciao!

 

no, this statement was true...I did mean it at the time! It wasn't stated or written by Jim Andrus, no wink wink! I always thought Jim Andrus as a very nice man, pleasant to talk to and level headed!
