We have always had a few drivers that refuse to chain so some of us have to take the loads over the hills
I think it sucks and they should move down south -

Lots of times, chaining is necessary only because road is still iced up and temp is down. The storm is gone and the sun is shining. So you chain for 50 mi to get unloaded THAT day, instead of waiting out the weekend 10 mi from consignee, right ?
