I drive for Munoz Trucking Inc.of El Paso, TX. If you run the 10, 20, 30, 40, 44, 70 and 81 corridors, you probably have seen our trucks, Almost all Volvo 780 sleepers. Well above the windshield is written "Angel's Dream". If you've ever wondered what it stood for, here it goes. Angel Munoz was the patriarch of the Munoz family. He was a lifelong truck driver based out of El Paso. He long dreamed of getting his own authority but feeding a large family and paying the bills left little money to put back to pay for a truck. So he never got to achieve his dream. Well 5 of his children followed in his footsteps and got involved in the transportation industry. Angel's Dream became a reality when his son, Juan Pablo Munoz was granted operating authority in 1997 to start Munoz Trucking. In memory of his father, he has Angel's Dream put on every truck in the fleet. Juan Pablo along with two of his brothers and a sister run the day to day operations at the terminal.

Thanks for sharing, think I have seen one or two in El Paso before

I always see them, nice equipment and the drivers I run into are always fairly decent as well. Looks like they only hire out of El Paso. Good people though.

My father in law is here too. He lives across the street from the terminal. I live on the East side of El Paso but it still winds up being a 25-30 minute drive to Horizon, lol.
We are up in PA a lot. Have frequent runs out of York, PA for ProTrans International that runs to either El Paso or Laredo. Drop and hook, easy money.
Munoz requires 3 years experience. We let Mesilla Valley Transportation deal with the trainees, lol.aiwiron Thanks this. -
Great to hear a story where the founders kids took the business up quite a few notches. We normally hear about the kids running the company into the ground by bad management or using it as a cash cow to fill their pockets until it goes belly up.
