The propane guys around me say they suck..... And usually find something else to do for the summer..
-
There is basically only one small company that hauls it near me. And from the look of the trucks it pays well, but that doesn't mean its true I guess
-
I had a guy tell me he averaged about $2.50 a running mile pulling a company trailer. Don't know if that included carrier fees or anything else for that matter.
deckeralliance Thanks this. -

It can kill you real quick. A crappy way to die.
PPNLE and tommymonza Thank this. -
$2.30 a couple of years ago means less than that this year.. -
Wouldn't be bad to have a low swing in the market for about a month. Tankers are high everywhere I've seen

Almost killed myself with anhydrous 35 years ago. I was returning a empty field wagon of it to pick up a new one to bring back to the field.
Looked in my rear view mirror and saw the nozzle dragging on the ground so stopped and jumped out of the truck to secure it.
Ran up on the wagon and went to the ground like I had been tackled by the whole team.
I crawled away from the wagon and was able to get my breath back after a minute.
Rushed back in holding my breath and was able to turn the valve off that got knocked open from dragging and secure the hose.
When I took that breath of that little bit of anhydrous that was lingering in the air, it was like someone hit me in the chest with a railroad tie.shatteredsquare, Old_n_gray, Snow Hater and 1 other person Thank this. -
Yeah its good stuff. I've had take rollover hoses pull apart and valves blow. You definitely have to be careful
