They learn almost like a kid, lots of repetition and stop for the day before they get too much of an attitude. I've never trained a horse but heard my little sister carry on about training one long enough to remember a thing or two against my will.

You can't name a horse Trigger then drag it down the road behind a pickup. Of course it's abuse. I'm not outraged, but sometimes you got to call a spade a spade. Looks like people who are too stupid to own a horse to me.
I worked on a horse farm as a kid. Never one time did it ever cross my mind that hooking a truck to them would be acceptable. Dang

No she wasn't. The horse was attempting to prevent being moved, that vehicle never moved above a walk speed. Over drive is something entirely different and is in reference to the cowboy days of driving a herd of cattle across the state.

I grew up in the race horse industry. A angry horse is a very dangerous thing. Seen lots of broken backs and pelvic bones. Not to mention faces half ripped off when struck by a shoed hoof.

but there is a difference..the cattle are for the food chain they already have a short life span, and does anyone really ride cattle??. or keep them as pets, and lose market value..??

the horse is either for work(pulling a wagon or buggy) or play (riding pleasure).

I do stupid stuff all the time but I'm not stupid enough to film it and if so certainly not stupid enough to post it on Facebook.

How come nobody has pointed out the real stupidity?

In some countries they eat horses, dogs and cats and even kill their own people. Other things to be upset about, no comparison to the little rough treatment of a horse. If you have never broken a horse, I have, don't be too quick to judge this occurrence without seeing the whole thing.

So it's ok to abuse an animal that we eat, but not one wer user for work, play, or income? Do you not set the hypocrisy in that?

Besides which, horse meat is regularly consumed and not just in third world countries but right here in the United states.
