I am 21 years old and have always had the dream of driving otr. i started driving dump trucks for a construction company when i was 18. its been a good job to get experience in a truck. my plan was to use this job to learn as much as i could and get my class a to have a head start when i qualify to go otr. but a few months ago i got hit by a forklift in the warehouse at work. it pretty much tore everything in my left ankle. i had reconstructive surgery in march. i was wondering if anyone has experienced a similar injury. will this prevent me from ever having the chance to drive otr?? driving trucks and everything around trucks has always been a strong passion so i would greatly appreciate any information and/or advice.
