They really have dumbed down the industry. It makes it easy to stand out from the crowd by just having a little common sense. I just hope one of these morons doesn’t take me out before I can retire.

Well, I'll tell ya', I feel bad for this gal. She's trying and no real harm done. She won't do that again and we've all had our share, it's just, a) we made it through the ditch, and b) there weren't cameras everywhere catching us. Mistakes today are costly, she'll find out with weekly deductions until the towing bill is paid off, but I say good for her. Probably a great driver otherwise.

It looks like she was almost out of that turn. Probably got scared of trailer tilting when left side wheels started getting back on pavement. It looked to me there was possibility of not needing a tow, but she stayed safe, this is a good quality, I would’ve probably powered through if there wasn’t actually additional big dip/drop where her right side trailer wheels were tracking.

Idk... I’m sure she is a nice person and all, and I hate to kick a person when they are down, but she has a lot to learn. Hopefully next time she will at least ditch the sandals, put on a pair of shoes, and walk the area before taking a chance.

Auto transmission probably doesn’t help either in this situation. That and I’m sure the stupid traction control kicked in and killed any chances of powering through.

Well....she was only in her 2nd week. Then training is not always the most adequate because you have inexperienced drivers working as trainers. I'm not sure that I always blame the driver at that level of experience. If they don't have an experienced trainer, then they won't be taught to stay on numbered highways, or to buy a truckers GPS, or my personal favorite, an atlas....

One has to be trained to do such. If inexperienced drivers are training new drivers, what is to be expected?
