I was thinking the same thing, if she gave it more throttle, she would have got out of there. She wasn't super heavy. It looked like the main road was right there in her line of sight

Not only can they not read a atlas or map but they can’t check tires or do a pretrip they are just steering wheel holders
What’s sad is it’s not just trucking it’s basically most jobs look at the fast food industry all the have to do is punch buttons when you tell them your order but yet they screw that up

At least the trailer wasn’t laid over. I expected it to be worse than it actually was.

Well, I'll say this, and not to start a race war, but I think it's great this gal is trying to do something besides hand you your sandwich. Our local McD's, practically the entire crew is black. There just aren't many opportunities for young, uneducated blacks, and why many have turned to the trucking industry. I think we're making too much of this, and she'll do just fine. I was pretty green too once, crossed a bridge intended for golf carts with a Mack dump and trailer grossing 68,000,,,can't forget that.

Everybody is entitled to their opinion .. This is mine White black brown yellow purple doesn’t matter there’s this thing called COMMON SENSE you either have it or you don’t. I don’t think she has much You said you think we are making a big deal about this really ??? I’ve posted this before I”’am in the prime of my life the industry is full of no common sense steering wheel holders they are on the roads with you & I…. i’lll be a mad MF’er even more mad if it’s somebody that English is not their primary language. if one of these re-tards in a Tupperware torpedo takes me out that’s not the way I want my life to end . They have no conception that they are driving a 75’ 80k missile that is 13.6” tall. Just look at the amount of massive pile ups anymore because of these no common sense GPS following non driving idiots. The roadways are full of them that’s way I think it’s a big deal

Well, you know, in the almost 10 years I've been here, I don't think I've ever reported a comment, but am sorely tempted with yours. You need a break, pal. This gal didn't kill anyone, and probably never will. She made a boo-boo, and learned a valuable lesson. Has nothing to do with common sense, that I'm sure she has plenty or wouldn't even be in a truck. She made it through all the hoops, something I would never do. These people truly want to drive a truck, for whatever reason, unlike me and possibly you, that just did it for kicks initially. I think you are selling these new drivers short and a distracted 4 wheeler is far more likely to end your life, or a stroke, than another truck. When you think of it, we were all steering wheel holders.
