That’s it? If people stop riding their brakes and use the proper gear for the downgrade they wouldn’t need to even touch them. I would pray these folks stay away from the backroads I’ve been in like the Ozarks remember a 16% grade for a couple miles with 25mph curves.

 

With an automatic you rarely need to touch the brakes.

 

I's bet that one would have been out of McCarran NV dc and it would have been a Swift.

there is one bad downgrade just south of Sylva, NC on us-441/23 .

 

I remember one 10 or 12% grade near Mountain View, AR . Ozarks !
