    I like Bishop area . One of beautiful places of USA. I like mountains and four season weather. I was born and raised in place like Bishop.

    6-7% grade,anything Longer than 3 miles gets 25mph 5th gear and jakes- NOT A STEP MORE!!...You'll never have to touch your brakes- 5 miles or 15 miles.....Of Course this figure assumes 40k or more on the wagon.

    Baffles me why they send inexperience on these dangerous routes- I Know the seats gotta be filled..But come on

    June lake is a good place but my kids are not pro anglers.

    ok. you are correct about 5th gear and 25mph. There is sign on Sherwin grade saying max speed is 35mph for trucks. And you know it's cali, you can go 5mph more. So trucks go down at 40 mph. In the middle of the grade some of them realize that brakes smoke and slow down. Some of them don't pay attention on smoke..
