Cruise/jake works great, so whenever we cross paths again we'll set it up on yours!

been there done that but not to the degree you describe. Now I make it a point to use my sledge to "lean on" while checking the jaws. Place it at the edge of the gear brackets. helps keep me off it.

Yesssss.... Both myself and atruckr operate out of southern California. In fact the title of my thread says 'Choice program on the West coast.'
    Hope that helps.....

Nearly had a bad short week today. Apparently, when you update your NAT after hours someone in the Philippines gets the message. So last night before I left Albany I knew I would run out of hours 45 miles before my delivery. So I adjusted my NAT and took off. Woke up this morning and made a phone call to my ICA, first time talking to him. That all went well and I took off to make delivery. Once I got the the customer refused to take the load. Will have to reschedule. Great, so another call to my ICA, who is not happy about it. CS says the best they can do is the 19th. Not wanting to sit on it I saw a fine from SNI coming. Once my ICA started looking at my events and realized that I had enough hours to run the load when i started my day yesterday and that I had updated my ETA properly he let me take it to Reserve and relay it with no fine. But he made me eat the miles to Reserve and back to my next load. But i can live with 100 miles versus 400 bucks. So his comment was next time send a freeform and update your NAT. Whew, feel lucky he did not kill me with the relay fee. Lesson learned.

While at the yard in Reserve I managed to get an MTY. But once I opened the doors I found product that ha been refused. So I ended up with 48 8 pound bags of charcoal stacked in my truck. I wont be buying any this year. Lol.

I guess its a little late and my brain is not working... how is any of that your fault? You showed up to the customer and they just refused the load, you didn't do anything wrong?
