I wonder if this has changed...if I remember correctly, dfo, sadwar, & chicknwing all went directly on Choice. They've all gone Choice within the last year, directly from company driver.

    sadwar Thanks this.

You can go directly to choice with 1 year driving experience now. Does not have to be owner operator experience.

I always screenshot my loads. This was not anything to do with the pay. It was the destination. I called before i signed the bills because it was different than my work assignment.

No worries, they paid me as they should have.

Was a busy week. Closed out pay roll with 4995 in revenue. Managed to squeak in the load i had last night. Extra 1k for the week. Got this week planned out this morning. If it all holds together i will have 5200 in revenue for next week.

Things are going well for now. Hoping this week holds together. All but 2 loads are drop and hooks. One is a live load, then drop. My last load for the week is a drop and hook pick and a live unload. They should hold together.

Planning to head home the weekend of the 10th for a couple days. May hit the truck show in Kenly with the family. Also see a bunch of alcohol in my future for that weekend as i celebrate my 40th birthday. Gosh i feel old saying that.

With all the talk of big money and high expectations I truly don't understand this concept whereas a tank of fuel pumped on monday could wipe out your earnings for the entire week.

I just spoke with Karry(spelling may be off) in O/O recruiting. You only need 3mos exp to lease on as mileage. 9mos. for the choice program. I called because my wife is jumping in the truck with me to team and wanted to find out how long before we could lease on. And Happy Birthday CW. I remember 40. I started falling apart soon after. Haha

CW, the last 39 years have just been practice - now you really get to start living!

Also, the older you get, the more people let you get away with...some call it senile, but whatever! ;)

    chicknwing Thanks this.

CW when you say revenue is that after your fixed cost and fuel or before?

What don't you understand? You should fuel when you are low. You either going to have a short week or long week.
