Welp. That driver needs to in order, change his pants, take a shower, go buy a lottery ticket.

Attaboy, ( or girl) so did the van miss the truck? If so, nice job, and shatters the myth of younger drivers not good. While the dash cam is a remarkable device that captures all these shenanigans for all to see, years ago, plenty of us have similar stories, and no dash cam to record it. Especially at 2am. I learned early on, always be aware on a 2 lane for this kind of thing. Van driver clearly distracted, or fell asleep, or medical emergency, but this has been happening on 2 lanes for 100 years.

Can't watch the video. Not a member of whatever thing it wants you to sign in to.

No matter how safe you think you are that doesn't stop other idiots from driving stupid and sliding into you.

The bottom line here is, the truck driver avoided the crash because they were paying attention. The photo above looks like a temporary sticker in the windshield. Temp drivers, you get what you pay for.

For those of you who can't see the video, the van was 50 yards or so in front of the truck when his right tires dropped off the road. He over corrected & shot across into his left lane, right in front of the truck. The truck made a quick but safe move into his left lane barely avoiding the van.
There was a water droplet on the trucks windshield right in front of the camera, so you couldn't see the van until it was kicking up snow off the shoulder & getting back on the hwy. It all happened within a second or so.

Better he save his money on the lottery ticket, he's done his luck for the week already.
