Another group asking the feds for an exemption

Were they invoolved in the push the ELD mandate? If so, no exemptions. You wanted it, you got it. If they didn't support the mandate, then give them the exemption they are asking for.

The more exemptions that are given, the more flaws in the mandate get exposed. Like I said, the ONLY people I am opposed to receiving exemptions are those who pushed for the mandate. You shouldn't get to ask for a rule and then seek an exemption from it after it is enacted.

 

You can’t expect them to comply. It’s unfair.

If they try mandating ELDs in Canada my minority group will also request a exemption.We are the WASP....a minute sector of the trucking population. For those of you not familiar with the term WASP is acronym for White Anglo Saxon Protestant.

 

When they decide upon these idea's it really makes me wonder just how much thought they've put into the system, and just like Prohibition it'll end up being given the flick eventually.
