Another mirror question

    Truck has factory heated mirrors, but would like to add 8" heated spot mirrors.
    Wondering if I could just tap into the present circuit, where all mirror heat would be controlled by a single switch, or to prevent circuit overload, add a relay & alt. power wire- Guess I could still tap into present circuit for the new relay trigger, but this route would be a bit more of a headache.
    New spot mirrors are TRP brand, but I have not been able to find the amp draw; for that matter, I have no idea how many amps the large mirrors draw. Any help would be appreciated.

    If I recall, heated mirrors draw about 3 to 4 amps each. That's for cars and light trucks.
