Well here goes, I have had my Class A CDL since I can't remember when. Have driven log trucks and dump trucks never over the road but been out of it for several years while attending college. I was told to do a refresher course in order to be hired for insurance purposes so I am now in school for 3 more weeks. i will be going with Wiley Sanders upon completion of the course. I am looking forward to meeting some new people and getting some great advice from the more experienced drivers along my journey. Be safe all.![]()

Just a brief update, I will finish my refresher course next week and going to orientation the following Monday. I have enjoyed reading this forum and taking in some of the advice given and of course you know that you have to take some with a grain of salt. I am anxious to get started and hope to meet some of you along the way. I have had some good laughs on here as well, Safe travels to all.

Welcome to the forum and just know it's a good mix of lunatics, college trained, over the road weather beaten drivers who would love to teach you so much about the wonderful world of trucking-proceed with caution-lol!

Hold on a second. Why would somebody with two degrees that graduated summa cumlaude and is also an NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional want to go back to driving a truck for a living? Did you get tired of the office grind and just looking do do something different?
