    Hi guys,

Please help! I've recently graduated from CDL school and I'm trying to decide where to go. I'm a 41yr old mother of 4 and I live in Brunswick, Georgia. I don't have any endorsements, I do however have a Twic card. I'm looking for a good company to start with. Home time is very important.

I'm interested in Reefer, LTL or Dry van.
I have prehires from US Express, Covenant and Swift. I've looked at Prime but I might have screwed my chances with them since it took me so long to graduate CDL school. Magnum, CRST, FreyMiller, Navajo, Roehl, Jim Palmer, Western Express and PTC are the companies I have looked at so far.

OTR training pay, meals and pay advances are very important to me since I'm broke and need all the help I can get until I can get some money rolling in..lol.

I appreciate any recommendations you can provide. Thanks in advance

Schneider. Do your year. Keep a good record. Then you can move into something better.

The first year in trucking you're dog meat.

What is your plan? Where do you want to be in 3 years? 4 years? Professionally. Answer that question, then you can formulate a plan. And don't ever take your eye off of where you want to be, dig your heels in, and you'll get there.

Here's one that has local/home every day; visit the terminal if you can!
Don't think you even need tanker endorsement there.

    You need TWIC card.

Some of those look ok, but hometime will be a bit sketchy.
If you're willing to run teams, CRST has a dedicated Caterpillar account that runs California.

Yes a local job would be ideal but I thought that would be kind of hard to obtain with no experience. I would like to experience going over the road but realistically that couldn't last too long. I have 4 kids(3 still at home). Thanks for the advice.
