Without reading everything I'm gonna say you will have a even split on advice. Reefer guys are gonna say that's the way to go because everyone needs food and they get miles, van guys are gonna say that's the way to go because you don't get all the hold ups the reefer guys do, and the ltl guys are gonna say that's the way to go because hourly pay and home time. It's whatever fits your lifestyle and needs.
