1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

I was debating going this way or down via ID and UT...fortunately Lookout Pass was clear..this was the best day for crossing in the past week or so.

Made it to Hardin, MT bout an hour ago. So far so good. Tomorrow will be a long drive, and I'm hoping to make Las Vegas NM.

Made it to Raton NM a couple hours ago...wouldn't be so bad, but nothing open...really could have used a couple beers. Just 440 miles to go...can't wait!

Sure did! Got to the campground about 2 hours ago. I'm all set up, and enjoying a hot meal, and (FINALLY) a cold beer!

Gonna be interesting...I got into a campground, but they said only 2 days in a tent...gonna talk to a manager tomorrow when she gets in, to see if they can extend it a couple days. Hopefully I can get a job offer before then, otherwise, hopefully someone needs a roommate real soon.

Looks like money lol. Really....there's rigs, trucks, and people everywhere! Currently I'm bivouaced in between Midland and Odessa. The area round here looks similar to Sprague Lake area...without the hills. Weather here is real nice. It was mid 80's when I got here...now it's a little cooler, but still comfy in shorts and a Tshirt...the wind is borderline irritating and refreshing.

Thirsty keep us posted how you make out down there. I might be on my way down behind you. I'd like to haul sand or crude but I guess I'll do whatever gives the best check on friday

Will update as I can. I can't say what pays best, but if ya do come here, I wish ya the best, and I'll try to answer any questions you have. One thing I can say, is try to arrange lodging as soon as ya can, as there isn't much here unless ya got an RV.
