    Top of the line everything looks like. Huge payments. Huge taxes. Huge insurance / overhead.

    No wonder they got undercut.

    When there's nothing left there, they can create a few more restrictions and taxes.

    Niche market carrier , must have been unprofitable for a few years causing original owners to sell. New owner-investors after a couple years get the lay of the land see no future and bail out. Management (that couldn’t run company profitable) apologizes and blames ownership. I think I’ve seen this before.
