i want to obtain a copy of my dac report, so i went to the usis site and went to request info, but it covers a wide variety of stuff. so what i need is where do i go to on the site to request the dac report that the trucking companys request? cuz i cant figure out what i need to click on. anyone got a link to the correct request i need? i figured im going to do everything on my own. from physical to permit, also have a distant neighbor who is o/o and will help me with the driving part. just want to have my ducks in a row before i go forward. have plenty of time. unemployment checks arent great but they help with bills. went to unemployment office to see if i could get free training, but they said my wife makes too much cabbage for me to qualify. i had the second oldest profession in the world,(registered land surveyor) but no loans= no property sold=no work. sorry for being long winded, but when you live in the country with no vehicle(1 vehicle family) you tend to start talking to the pets. they aint talking back so i guess thats a good thing. but anyway stir crazy is an understatement. thanks for any help on this request.

Under the FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act) you may receive a free copy once per year, the same thing as an Equifax etc. report.

Just download the request form, complete it, and mail to USIS/DAC. It will be returned to you via U.S. Postal Service in about 14-days.

Why do you want a DAC ???

You're a student, the only thing you need at this point is an MVR.

because im not going to waste my time jumping through hoops. i have my 10 year mvr, birth cert. dd214,ssn card(not laminated) went and got a physical today for 75.00 and passed,im just covering my a55 cuz i cant afford to go to a school and then get sent home for some penny ante bull ##### when i can catch it all at home. going for my CDL A next week. if i pass then im good to go. i dont believe in failure, its unacceptable, so im going to go the lengths it takes to make sure i dont fail. i have done a lot of searching here and it seems it boils down to one thing, make sure you are perfect on all records or dont even bother applying, and that includes a DAC report. so regardless if im a student i would rather spend a couple hundred bucks to make sure im golden then get to school and get sent home for a bad haircut i got in the marines j/K. meaning im going to have all my bases covered and my attorney on speed dial. meaning im not going to be treated like a probee.

Bottom of the USIS website see "CONSUMERS". Click on that. Download where is says obtain a copy of your consumer report. Fill it out after downloading & printing & mail it to Tulsa.

If you don't have a job within 30 days. They'll do another. They may do it anyway.

    Nothing wrong with that.

Guess what, you're going to do another one. And they will determine pass or fail.

The DAC will not contain any relevant information, at this time.

Unfortunately, this isn't the military. CYA doesn't work the same way. And you need 2 attorneys on speed dial. One needs to be in the same state as the parent company.

And they'll treat you any way they want. Trucking doesn't fall under the same rules as any other industry. Whether you put up with it, is up to you. I know I don't.

I wouldn't expect any less, from someone else. Experienced or not.

    Good Luck, and happy hunting.
