The weather is not any worse now then it was in the past. The attitudes and driving abilities of the new breed of drivers is a lot worse.
No your wrong, the media was not less uninformed in the past. These multiple truck accidents where a rare occurrence. Heavier traffic volumes
on the road does not cause accidents, unsafe driving does. If you are a lousy driver and cause an accident because of your stupidity then
you have no business being behind the steering wheel of a tractor trailer. I hope they all lose their CDL before they kill or hurt someone.
Why feel sorry for someone who loses their job because of their own stupidity? Let them find a line of work where they are not a danger to
other people. If they lose their homes in a lawsuit to a lawyer they should take a good look in the mirror to see who is to blame for that.
I don't have any sympathy for people that destroy other peoples lives because they don't have enough common sense to drive safely.

Companies like crst / swift / usx that push drivers out of their inexperience driver mills get what they pay for.

i am more comfortable doing 62-67 in a semi than 70-75, I get passed by many of you and the assumption is I'm a new driver because I'm going slower / or because I drive for a company that is known for crappy so-so training like usx.

The only solution i see is governmentally mandated training standards of at least 200-250 hrs with a trainer. There are too many dirtbag egotistical uneducated drivers out there that act like they have a lot to prove.

Yup... like the others have guessed it is the Garmin 10 model. Works pretty well and god forbid I wind up in a situation where I need it it will be worth every penny.

On I-80 in Wyoming today just before wum around the 160ish there is another accident involving FedEx and a reefer truck, unable to find the article on it maybe someone can post it. FedEx looks to have launched it self up an embankment.
