I’m a family of 5 so I was considering changing domicile in Atlanta and fly back home when done at least for a year of experience it is an option I’m considering, almost my last option though.

If you put in cdl driver and Florida several jobs show up.
I didn't check individual locations requirements

I’ve been applying on indeed as well filtering job sites individually when going thru them some don’t show requirements once u apply that’s when u see 6 months or 1 year I still apply take my chances anyways. I have about 6 pending apps out now with no response I just applied to schneider I thought I did but I guess that slipped thru the cracks. I’m thinking Monday I’ll follow up with them to see and continue putting more apps in.

Schneider has a Jet-Set Intermodal truck driver for my location. Anyone experienced that seems like I’m qualified for that. I just applied.

A few drivers on this forum are doing or have done, the Jet-Set. I don't recall any complaints. Here's two posts. The recruiter can give you more details though.

I almost did the jet-set thing with them back when I was starting out. I thought it would be cool to fly in and out of different places.

I live in Port St Lucie and had the same trouble as you did.......I finally wound up going Jet Set with Schneider. I know Lual didn't like his experience but sometimes we got to do what we got to do. They started me out in the Bulk tanker department and I'm getting my experience but you can go dry van etc..... Jet Set is 3 weeks out and one week home which they will fly you back and forth. Of course you can stay out longer if you want. So far I really don't have complaints but ignorance is bliss because I don't have much to compare them too.....lol

Yeah, I understand that. When I started had a wife and 4 children, so I understand.
Lived in Nashville, TN at the time. Hard work and perseverance and it all worked out just fine.

Try Craigslist? Hope I didn't already suggest that.
Whatever you do. Don't accept a driving job from BillyBob's Alligator Eatery. Trust me.

I did intermodal work for Schneider.

I DO NOT recommend that as a starting environment for a beginning driver.

The sad truth is that you are simply TOO FAR SOUTH for most currently available worthwhile starter gigs. :(
