another $ question

    How is it that one company will start new drivers (recent grads ) at .34 cpm but then there others down at .26 cpm. one company topped out at .36 cpm after 10 years.

    Like all other occupations...Different companies have different pay rates for the same or similar jobs.

    30 cents per mile, every mile

    40 cents loaded, 20 cents empty

    or 15% of the gross,

    or 22% of the net ..........................

    Nothing in this business is black or white !!!

    like said, different companies will offer different pay scales. then too you should consider the benefits package. the low wage company may have better bene's........or "perks", like newer equipment, or more miles.....

    everything needs to be considered.

    personally, give me an older truck, and the bene's. i don't need to show off i'm driving a shiny new truck..........for minimum wage........
