Another 'Super-Trucker' who left the 'safe-harbor' of the truck stop, in a raging snowstorm, aka, 'blizzard', and the video of his wreck an hour later. This is pathetic...
Amazing how he dances around the responsibility of control of his truck, choosing to blame 'zero visibility' at 30 mph (down from 50-60mph a bit earlier) for his inability to avoid an accident.
This is a good video for Newbies out there, who can't decide if they should 'be on time' with their load, or 'go for it'.
No matter what, YOU are responsible for CONTROL of that truck! YOU!!! Being mature and making the best choices is what it takes for survival. Make enough wrong choices and survival can be compromised.
If you can't make a good 'common sense' judgment call of whether to drive in the blizzard or not, maybe consider these points:
1) Do you want to wreck your truck?
2) Do you want to possible kill yourself, or others?
3) Does your Boss want the financial hardship if you wreck? (it's no,,,)
4) Does the Shipper want his PRODUCT 'trashed', because you wrecked? (no,,,)
5) Does the Receiver want the Product he NEEDS to run his business, delayed by more time dealing with a wreck, or possibly destroyed? (uhh no)
6) Do you want Bubba and me makin' fun of your unintelligent arse on the CB?
I'm so sick and tired of these 'super-truckers' who can't make a decent choice.
It's a good thing we 'got proof' of unintelligent life' on this planet. Thank you YouTube and the video camera.![]()

Those roads are better than what I face on 50% of my trips.

Never get out of your vehicle in that situation. Some lady just died in Southern Ontario because she was struck by a car in that very same situation.
-
Sure seems less upset about his accident than he is pleased over his ability to "MacGyver" his mirror bracket....
-
Something seems wrong there don't it? La de da, oh well I just got in a wreck with the truck. But lookie here! I n-rigged a bracket for my mirror out of my broken antenna from that there wreck I was in. uh huh huh gowrsh>....

I've never owned a video camera, but if I did, I don't think I'd make a recording of something that was more than likely all my fault and then post it on the internet for the world to see.

what an idiot--maybe he should have took the stud outta his tounge and put it in his tire for traction
-
The wreck was totally his fault he ran between the other two trucks that were there.
