I am setting up my CB radio in my Pickup truck, and I am going with a two antenna setup. Not co-phased, but separate, and for a reason. My radio is an export model, and I want to tune the antennas for separate bands. I need a switch box to switch antennas based on the band I am using. D being the CB Radio Band on Antenna 1, and the Band E between CB and Ham radio frequencies on Antenna 2.
Anyway, can someone suggest a reliable switch box for me? I want to get a good one. I bought a pair of Wilson 2000 trucker Antennas, and high quality coax for this setup, and don't want it brought down by a poor quality component. Thanks in advance for any info.
Antenna Switch Recommendation?

I think a antenna matcher would work better depending on what ham frequencies you going to work. I ran a motorized screwdriver with a antenna matcher and it was good fot 6- 20 meters

I'm not going to work any Ham frequencies until I get my license for those. They don't appreciate unauthorized users on their frequencies, and I have at least enough respect to stay off their zone and only tread into the frequency range between CB and Ham for now. I've seen a few antenna switches out there, but wanted to get some recommendations first. Thanks.

If you tune the antenna half way between your highest and lowest operating frequency you should have and acceptable match on both bands with one antenna.I tuned my Wilson 1000 for 27.735 Mhz and get it seems to work good on the CB band as well as the 10 meter novice band.If you want to use the switch with 2 antennas I'd suggest you stay away from the CB type switches and go with a switched aimed at the amateur radio community. There is nothing wrong with some of the CB type switches but some are a waste of money. The same applies to some of the amateur radio antenna switches though.I have good luck with antenna switches from Diamond,Daiwa and Alpha Delta. The Diawa CS-201,pictured below usually runs around $30 US.

Mad Dog, thank you for the advice. I ended up ordering a switch by a company called workman. Is that one of the decent or cruddy ones? since I already ordered it, I'll give it a try, but if not I'll try one of these you suggested. Thanks again for the intel.

YEP I use them even on 2 meters they work just fine -
Workman CSX-3
I just noticed Workman also import a switch called the CS-210,it appears to be identical to the Diawa CS-201.Chances are they are built by the same company to the same specs for different importers.I found the Workman online for around $16 US.

I beleve that I use mine to switch from the stacked squailos to the CAABC23 vertical. -
For an import radio just use a single broadband antenna, Stryker, Wilson, Monkeymade to name a few will tune up (very low SWR) and operate well. For low band all the antennas are ugly but I know these to work well.
