not exactly what I was talking about. The one I'm talking about has two antennas (Francis 5x5) mounted vertical, with a non-conductive "spreader" about half way up so the antennas form a 'V' more or less. Next time I see the UPS driver I'll find out if he still has that antenna and buy it or at least take a pic.

Are you talking about a rooster booster? I have seen them and they are supposed to be equal to a 5/8 wave base antenna

I remember that name from long ago but my head is blank as to what it was, except that no I never heard anyone call a Di-Bar setup by this name. Also, here is a pic of the original Francis tunable tip.
