Hey folks, I was wondering if any of you could recommend an inexpensive GPS tracker that I could hide on the truck for when it's parked. I would hate to have my first truck vanish into the ether. Thanks.
Anti-theft GPS device to put in my truck when parked?

Keep Truckin has something called an asset tracking device too. I think they want $250 for the device and then $15 per month...or something in that range.

If I was concerned with my vehicle walking away I don’t know that price would be the deciding factor
I had gps trackers in a few trucks I had when I ran more than just mine
The ones I used would alert me when it started. Shut off. How fast it was going. Location etc
Probably more than what you need and I’m sure there are better ones out now than when I had them
I would also check with your insurance company
Maybe you would get a break with a device like thatLast edited: Apr 17, 2022

I bought my wife Tile trackers for cmas a few years back. There really for your key chain and stuff like that. But once them item with the tile attached to it is out of range. You can pull up its location on the map in the app.
There only about an inch by inch square. So the number of places to hide is huge. Down side is they only last for a year, before the battery diesgekko1323 Thanks this. -

Pic is a signal jamming device that the thieves use to steal your truck. Courtesy of one of Floridas Sheriffs departments.
C-4 under the seat tied to a pressure switch is what I recommend.
