Kill switches that kill ignition or ECM power only stop dumb thieves. Thieves in general are very good with electrical. All they need to know is what powers and grounds they need to power the ECM and back probe to the batteries, then jump the starter solenoid. That bypasses any ignition/ECM kill switch.
This is why I liked the solenoid that connected the service brakes to the parking brakes. Confusion is the best way to deter a thief. -

Try to keep it and to the point.. will you seriously spend 4 to 6 hours to prevent theft and 4 to 6 upon return to ready up and roll out ?

Here's one. Unplug the fuel solenoid or engine speed sensor enough to break contact but not enough that it looks like its unplugged. In theory even if the thieves power and ground the ECM to start the truck it should only crank over but not fire. It would be pretty easy to disable/re-enable the truck too.
