I have to constantly refill my anti freeze every 2-3 days. Occasionally for a week it doesn’t need refilling. I have no idea where the coolant is going I can’t find the leak. My truck isn’t overheating. There is no anti freeze mixed with the oil as well. Do any of you have any recommendations on how to find the issue? Or will I have to play the guessing game which will require a lot of money.

Get yourself one of those liquid coolant leak testers.

It might be related to how much your adding . Some newer petes have the full level about a inch below the cap and any excess goes out as overfill . I fill mine to bottom of cap - ( usually driving heavy , and in the heat ) , so i add more and by the 2-3rd day , top it off again . ( reasoning behind filling to the cap is that if its filled to full line by the third day low coolant light and full time engine fan ) . Might be the issue

You’re not gonna see a leak or any evidence of the leak it’s blowing out the stacks. My money is on a head gasket

Take the exhaust band clamp off the back of the turbo. Get a really bright flash light, see if you find what looks like silica sand particles the color of your antifreeze in the back of the turbo. When you’re burning minor amounts it turns to what looks like sand.

Depending on what motor you have and if it’s pre egr it’s most definitely a head gasket or pin hole in liner type problem. If it has egr it could be a bad egr cooler. If it has a bad cooler disassembly and inspection usually reveal it. I have found many a bad precooler on acerts by lookin in the hole

Is this a newer style Paccar mx, or Cummins x15 with the weird shaped plastic surge tanks? Are you getting a low warning light on dash often? And checking the tank level looks good. The newer style surge tanks are a throw away part. You get a new surge tank with level sensor for about $350. The surge tank service life is about 300,000 miles. Just my experience as a driver not a tech.
