I have 2009 freightliner Columbia that is building up air pressure in the antifreeze tank, The tank is brand new as is the egr cooler , there some black substance appearing in the tank , I have to add antifreeze everyday but check engine light still turns on after driving for a while . There is no antifreeze leaking from anywhere , what can be the problem?

No antifreeze in engine oil or transmission oil
-
-
Oil in the radiator, black dots, sludge
-
Cracked hose if no pressure does it smell of antifreeze in cab,. Heater core
-
Do this ...
Go and get the coolant system flushed and change the radiator cap.Farmerbob1 Thanks this. -
Will try that thanks

What motor? If oil is in coolant the 2 prime suspects are head gasket or oil cooler. Oil pressure is greater than coolant pressure so oil in coolant is the first sign.
Farmerbob1 and RockinChair Thank this.
