Any advice before I sign on with Cargo Transporters

    I am a new driver about to finish school , would like home time if possible .. Have a younger kid, and wife so weekend would be nice .. Any better companies to look at ?thanks for any advice ... I live in Hickory NC area..

    Yeah scared of that for sure , but some companies offer home time on weekend.. .. Wish could get more , but gotta work a year , before can see more it seems..

    Cargo T would be a good gig.

    Also check out Watkins Shepard. They're right where you are. You'd be home every Friday or Saturday morning. Out 4-5 days- if you run furniture/ not OTR. Some weeks you might be home once during the week.

    You're in a good area. Also Zenith, once you get some time under your belt. MBM food if you want to route drive home daily.

    Do not go with Werner they do offer weekly home time for dedicated loads but my husband has been with them for 10 months and hasn't made a check over 400$ And he has to unload trucks almost every single day. Not worth the effort. Good luck on your search!

    find a local company, concrete, lumberyard, trash. stay home with your kid. otr companys lie then your out frustrated, etc...
