American Contract Freight, Inc. Runs van only home every ten days...runs from Miami to North East to Midwest....no west coast 40 cpm. They are on Facebook.
Been a good company for guys who live in South Florida, mostly O/O with some new KW T680 tractors for company drivers.
NATS....North American Transport Services. 1099 only, has O/O and Company Drivers. Run Miami to Northeast I 95 route. 40 CPM.
Both are bilingual and decent outfits....

Did you check Freymiller?
Covenant - teams with hazmat endorsement
Florida Beauty Express = teams and they do a lot of triangle runs; Miami/California/New York/back to Miami.
Southeastern Freight Lines - line haul
Indian River Transport
Monterey Boats in Williston,FL
Abilene Motor Express
Lessors Inc.
Twiss Transport
Heyl Truck Lines
McKesson Corp. - hauls hospital supplies
Milan Supply Chain Solutions - division of Milan Express

Of the above, my favorites would be:
Freymiller
McKesson

Southeastern Freight - linehaul -
holy cow all these leads. ty everyone. im going to do what research i can tonight and in the morning.
any comments or suggestion on the idea of just jumping into whatever company and just trying whatever one until i get into a halfway good one? is there any negative consequence to going from company to company? Im not being a princess wanting the perfect company. i just want a halfway good truck (working) and miles. -
If you've been job hopping, it may limit your choices. If any terminals are near you, on that list, do the online job application, then go visit the terminal and say, "I'm checking on my job application."
kildar3 Thanks this. -
Im from South Florida
send you a pm -
There are plenty of small carriers in Florida. I'm talking 50 to 100 trucks. The issue is finding what you're looking for among the dozen or so to choose from. From my personal experience in So. FL, they are much more laid back on rules compared to the mega fleets. We run paper Logs! Drivers get more miles (legally) and the boss is not hiding in the board room.
Here is a list of Florida based fleets by city.
