Yeah I know missing one or two questions won't sink me, and I don't expect to score 100% (be nice if I did, though :biggrin_255:), but I just think my answer is the best answer to the question and not the computer's, and I'm wondering what other people think. BTW, you didn't say whether or not you got that one right....:biggrin_25517:

Well it is done. Passed my Class A CDL driving test yesterday. I don't think I have ever been so nervous in my life waiting for the examiner to come out to the truck. We have Con-Way Freight here in town but I have never seen a Con-Way Truckload truck anywhere here. I am sitting in the truck waiting, almost ready to throw up when I look up and here comes the Con-Way Truckload truck right by DPS. All I could think of was "Here's your sign". I took a deep breath and settled down. To that driver going through Bryan, Texas yesterday, you have no idea how much that helped just seeing you and knowing that a pass meant I would be on my way to Joplin on Sunday. I look forward to bootcamp and my new journey with Con-Way.

One good test-taking trick is to read the answers before reading the question. Most correct answers become pretty clear when you read them as independent phrases and not in context of an answer. However, having written that and re-reading the question in question, I'm not sure it would have helped because of the "always" and "should" options. Those words should not be used in a good answer...he said, knowing his answer contains "should."

    Yah....that question blows!

    Question 8
    ==========
Which of these statements about backing a heavy vehicle is true?

    a. Backing is always dangerous.
Not "always" dangerous...no more or less than going forward in some cases.

    b. You should back and turn toward the driver's side whenever possible.
Best answer in MY opinion. You SHOULD back to your drivers side "whenever possible" (as apposed to blind side).

    c. You should use a helper and communicate with hand signals.
Now; if this option would have included "whenever possible", it would be a decent choice...but, is not the only one.

    d. All of the above are true.
This is not a choice (to me) because I don't agree with 'A', or 'C' (because of the way it's written).

I have 17 years experience, and most likely would have gone with "B", because the other three options don't make sence to my obsesive/compulsive ###.

How is the health insurance with Conway? Are there any coverage limits or high deductibles? How much do they charge?

Also, do they allow pets? Do they hire out of the LA/OC california area?

I don't know if I want to go with Conway or Watkins/Shepard.

    Decisions decisions lol

Thanks to anyone that can answer.

From what I have seen, go with Con-way. They have much nicer equipment.

Ya, thats what I seem to be reading. But, Watkins seems to have way more miles available. Any thoughts?
