To the best of my knowledge (based on experience of others in my orientation class) all company TL drivers are .36 cpm with at least 1 year of experience. There is additional pay for the northeast, and hazmat. As far as orientation in Lancaster it was Monday-Thursday as Chrindy stated, and I doubt it is any different in other locations.

Can't read through all the posts so wondering if pets are allowed, specifically a dog?

According to the pet policy, you can have either a dog or a cat. If you're teaming, one pet per person.

    There is a $300 non refundable deposit/fee.
as well as your docked a penny a mile, but you can get that penny a mile back, as long as your mpg is above fleet average.

Does Conway offer layover pay? Breakdown pay? If so what are the requirements? Has anyone had issues receiving this?

We do offer layover pay, as well as Detention pay. As far as I know breakdown isn't offered, BUT it may be done as detention pay depending on the problem?

I know my FM is good enough to send me a message when I haven't put in for layover I am entitled to.

Well that speaks volumes about your FM. And hopefully you are ever in need of the answer to the breakdown part of the question right?

I am still in limbo with the TX oil fields or Conway TL. I need a truck to sleep in so idk. Have another month or so of loose ends to tie up with my father's passing. Guess everybody has their own dilemma's. :biggrin_25512:

Last winter the clutch went out on my truck and I was shut down for 3 days. I was put up in a motel and received breakdown pay. It is paid the same as layover pay, $60 a day.

I have a dog. $300 nonrefundable deposit. If I keep my mpg at or over 7 mpg I get the penny a mile back. If you are driving one of the old red racers it is 6.2 mpg. Won't be too much longer and the red racers will be gone. That will be a sad day. I loved mine. :biggrin_25519: I now drive a 2011 KW T660.

If you like CWTL now you should've been with them when they was out of Memphis... since they combined with CFI they really went downhill. Before they would give evyone their own embroidered shower bag had your name on it, then if you stayed a year they gave you a Carhartt heavy coat with your name on it.. when we went back to em it was like a nightmare had happened to the company and CFI took everything away. Trucks went from 74 MPH down to 65 and we (drove team both times) didn't get any miles. So if your happy now you would've loved it then.

Remember 2 things, #1 CWTL bought CFI,.and CFI was a better company thena!
#2, CWTL was all sunshine and roses, but also a money loosing operation.
if they didnt operate under the conqay blanket, they would have been out of operation.
where as cfi always without fail, even after the buyout, made a profit, every year.
