Thank you I appreciate the info and we'll remember to grab a mask...nothing worse then getting sick out the road except for maybe getting sick shortly after starting work for a new company. I appreciate the heads up on the backing, I just get in my head sometimes when it comes to my wife backing (she's not afraid to do it and she's a good safe driver) I just always wake up when we get close to p/u or del if she's driving to help with directions (2 heads and 2 sets of eyes being better than 1 and all).

Same could be said every time the hire mess of people off the street fresh out of truck driving school.
Or when they hire somebody with less than a year experience, or a year and half.
Or folks that play the game not going to Canada.
Canada is easy money. Especially for teams, get the team required kenmex loads.
Many times I'd wished I had a extra set of eyes.
I personally envy the husband and wife teams that can make it work.
Good luck to you crazy kids, I hope you do well.

We're excited about coming over to Conway TL. We're sitting in Santa Barbara, CA right now in our RV enjoying a little down time between CRST and the move to CWTL. Will be driving to Phoenix a little later this morning :biggrin_255:.

Man. ...Who pissed in your Cheerios this week???

If you have problems getting miles ...talk to your FM
if that doesn't help talk to his floor supervisor ....

if need be fire your FM & get a few one ... I avg 10k-12k a month
    with resets ...

You don't need a passport ....but there will be times in Taylor Mi when there's no team freight & you might get a Quebec load instead of a Chicago Il

i ran teams here for bout 9 months ...had one Vancover BC & one QC load

My first truck at T/L had an apu, there are still a few in the mix. Having just made the switch to CNWY Freight, I kept my two years credentials ( full time employee, paid holidays, vested 401K, just no seniority; even freight employees don't switch terminals and keep seniority. I did jump ahead of a recent hire on having paid holidays, they had to wait 3 months.) I applied to freight a year ago and heard nothing, applied again in May and was hired right away to start in June. The only thing you gain by only applying to freight from the get go is seniority, which may or may not be important. We have guys who bid flex board too, as most flex drivers make a good check at our terminal. Expect to get dirty and drive old trucks from time to time, but I love being home and my first full weeks pay netted just under 1000$ last week.

Get the passport, you get reimbursed for it and it makes you eligible for those loads even if you don't take them into Canada....many times they will just turn you around from Taylor and you won't even cross over. Always better to have more options available on your screen when you pop up for a load.

In order to work for Conway freight (LTL) don't you have to either start as a dock worker or forklift operator or have a year of truckload experience with Conway?

    Lol yeah Paul
...I wish I did have cheerios

I've just had one to many relays after I sit in a dock load up. Have hours. Only to get to take it 20 miles to a h&w who stay up together then sit for 4 hrs waiting.

Ignore me crst guy I'm just excessively aggressive
Some would call that a douche haha

    But im honest.
