Yup, all the trucks have EZpass & the Oklahoma pikepass. They'll reimburse most other tolls (Kansas, California, Florida, the Ambassador Bridge in Detroit, etc) but there are a couple of toll-ways we're not allowed to use (the 407 ETR in Ontario, Canada & certain Texas toll roads that require TxTag)
Any and all questions about Conway Truckload can be answered here!

Is Con-way Truckload going to get rid of their Prostar's this coming year or are they purchasing more? The reason I'm asking is, that I am considering going with Con-way Truckload after I get out of the Army. I know they have had problems with the Prostar (for that matter, who hasn't), so just trying to get an idea what to expect.

They did turn in a large batch of maxxforce prostars early (280-350,000), but I'm still in mine at 340,000. Apparently the new prostars they're getting are cummins powered.I honestly don't mind the maxxforce. Sure its egr & dozer need frequent attention (might as well clean/replace both at every PM), but there is no DEF to add, it weighs nearly 2,000lbs less than the dd15, & it pulls better despite 2 fewer liters displacement...

are they still getting new Kenworth's or are they just sticking with International for a bit?

Still buying a pretty even mix of KW T680 and Prostars. I have one of the new pro stars, its got quirky things but nothing that has cost me money in downtime. The KW's had a rash of problems, but that seems to be ironing itself out. The trucks are decent, if you drive 120k per year, you will have some downtime. If it has a nagging, non urgent problem, I tend to send mine to the shop when I am on home time so that it doesn't cut into money making miles.
Equipment would never affect my decision about an employer unless they were not properly maintained. Conway is very good about that. -
Good about arguing getting a mudflap put on a hazmat drp hk trl as well.
I dare you to go to loved they'll tell you to "ask the mechanic to do you a favor"
-.- .....#### and send me my comcheck number rs.....lulz
Question!
Say I go team here :
How are paid miles calculated?
Would a fresh noob off a finishers truck gain my accumulated miles or is it they would get half the dispatch miles added to their own count like the hazmat bonus ne split?
Anyone know how that works? -
If you're making 39cpm solo, you'll make 23.5cpm running team. So at 2500 miles/week solo you'd earn $975. At 5000 miles/week teamed you'd make $1175.
A new driver would make 22.5 cpm teaming... You both get paid for every mile the truck is dispatched -- just at different rates based on seniority.
Additional pay (hm, ne, extra stops, etc) is usually halved and given to both drivers equally (.5cpm NE pay paid to both drivers rather than 1cpm paid to a solo).CargoWahgo Thanks this. -
Much better deal.
Now say we drive 5k miles
Do all 5k miles go on my(and their) service award level or is it split up somehow?
