Log it how you do it. I never heard a word about 5-8 min pti's & fuel stops (which can be combined) or ~3 minutes to check in with customers.

I was told 75+ mph was fireable in orientation (Super singles are only rated to 75). I set my gps to give me a warning at 72 and hit 74 a number of times without hearing a peep. But like Paul said, the qualcomm logs 71+ as overspeed so I'm sure if I had an accident they would have gone back and said I had a history of driving too fast even though those were always in 75+ zones...

The qualcomm speed is more accurate than your speedometer -- your speedometer will probably read 66-68 when you're really doing 64-65. The qc will read 64-65 (you can verify by using the "follow me" feature on navigo -- you may have to ask the Joplin shop to turn on navigo). When your tires are worn out you'll only be doing 62-63 on the governor. As an aside, conway will replace drive tires at 4/32 (legal limit is 2/32)

You can fuel at most pilots/J's but there are some other stops as well. In Portland, OR you can fuel at the Jubitz (get yourself a steak dinner). And I'm 99% sure you can fuel at that TA 30 miles east of Seattle WA. Montana has some town pumps that are in network too. There are also a few Loves in the Southwest. And there are a number of Conway Freight yards throughout the country...

You can see a list of fuel stops in the Company "driveline" newsletter each month -- available online: https://www.con-way.com/en/truckload/_FileLibrary/PageFile/100/driveline.pdf (edit: nevermind, they stopped putting them in there?). You can usually pick up a paper copy at the terminals and keep it in the truck -- the stops don't often change, though the "sfo" stops can vary from month to month (sfo = smart fuel option -- these cost Conway less)

Tonight I’m at the Loves in Rhome, TX and I will deliver my load in Hazlet, TX at 0600. Then I’m highlighted to go home. So I hope to get a load that will take me by home to get my stuff. In any event, I want to thank all you guys for your help. By the way, I got the fuel network downloaded on my phone and on my laptops. Anyway, I think I’m going to like working for Conway once I get all my stuff loaded in my truck.

Does anyone have some current info on Conway TruckLoad. Are miles good and what do you haul typically?? I currently work for JB HUNT regional California Western Based, rarely ever go East of Dallas, TX. I'm home
every 2 weeks for 2-3 days. I have been offered already to Join Conway Truck Load and go to orientation in Phoenix. How are miles for a Solo Driver? Average? At JB I average about 1800-2000
miles a week. Was told I could still get home every 2 weeks in California and get about 2400-2600 miles a week. Please any information is helpful! Thank you. Also I heard (from Recruiter) you only get a camera in truck if you have had an accident or a bad record.

I had 11500 miles for November.

Little higher than company avg because I run nights find a spot within 2 miles of where i need to be and don't waste time sitting in traffic.

Do they take good care of you as a driver? Are you out 4 weeks a month? Or are you home every 2-3 weeks? Thanks!

I've been out since the end of July but stopped in at the house a few times.

I can't make any money here during the day honestly.
You are looking at surfer Joe money if you do that.

I've gotten screwed this week waiting on relay partners to show up over 48hrs wait time still got 2300 miles. Suuuucccckkkksssss. Lot of h&w teams stay up together here.... And I hate their frickin guts.

About to take the entire month of January off get my wimpy prod bonus with lower taxes and use a weeks vacation. Will still have 40 somin days off after.
Dunno if I coming back though.

Double yellow is the guy to consult about miles out of California he bought his own truck not too long ago & left. What a dumbo!!!!! Jk of course :p (I'm never buying a big rig.... Ever....ever.....ever..... They are all junk!)

But yeah plenty of freight going to Texas Nebraska Ohio & Wisconsin it seems from there. Boat parts noodles liquor copper for me usually

When do the prostar international trucks get traded in? My exact miles are 395,385. I called Conway and asked them. They didn't give me an exact answer, just said when ever a truck is traded in you get a message over the Qualcomm. A few truckers said its right between 385k-395k. I just passed that and I'm in Missouri doing loads close to Joplin, but they didn't call me in. Really itching to get out of this truck with all the breakdowns.

What's it say on the satellite?
    Qualcomm logged miles.

It may be different than "truck stuff" miles as the shop would say...

Run them suckers up like I did on purpose !
You ought to be trading it in soon look for an x on your dashboard or headed to Joplin soon for your new kW or freightliner auto.

Get ready to remove chains and hang them on the new truck in their special way. They said I did mine sideways so had to do it over xD

400k is trade in time. Warranty's expire after that.

    zackery2011 Thanks this.
