Its odd but they are wanting fuel filters changed every 20k miles in the new trucks as opposed to the 30k.

Thank you. Checked Qualcomm satalite. Actually says 2 extra miles on it than what my truck says haha. Will have to check online when I have better service for the X. Hope they give me new chains- found out last week 2 of mine aren't even the right size when I went through Colorado and another 1 broke. Told Conway, they didn't really say anything about that 8-/ . thanks for helping me Cargo like always. :)

You are supposed to have two dual chains.

They go on top of your super singles.
    One on each side.

Fold in half grab chain row 1and 4.
Leave the single chain dangling as you spread it across all three pegs.
Then pick up the dangling single chain row and fold it up on the peg.

That's how they'll want em hung.

The dualie chains won't have the leftover one chain row like the ss chains but you still grab rows 1& 4 together then waddle over & spread em across the pegs then fold up the bottom across two pegs.

When I had a red truck my satellite said 698000 miles but hub only read 480k turns out the thing had been wrecked before and a new engine put in.
Had a shiny red paintjob Conway decals none of those stupid looking goofy CFI letters. Was a good truck.

If you get a cascadia just know its kinda hard to see the trailer when making right hand turns ain't as easy as the 660 or prostar but definately more space for living.

At this point I'd almost be happy with any truck as long as its not constantly breaking down or super tiny like the 660- that was terrible with 2 people and broke down all the time too. What are the trucks they have left they are handing out? I know you don't get a choice, but Im just curious. Last I heard it was 680, Cascadia, and freightlier right? They're out of volvos?

Miles out of California suck, so if you want to go home every 2-3 weeks, you probably won't be content at Con-way. If you stay out 4-8 weeks you'll basically stay in the midwest and only go home for hometime, but get better miles.

PS: Grossed $9,925 last week on ~3300 miles as an independent o/o:

Broker: I got a load going 342 miles and paying $650 that needs to go straight through.
Me: I can cover that, but my minimum is $1500/day.
    Broker: Are you serious?
    Me: Yep.
Broker: Sigh, I'll send the rate con -- can you do it again tomorrow?
Me: Sure (& books $875 backhaul too)

    Christmas Freight rocks! :p

PPS: My 1,512,000 mile International 9400 has given me less problems than the 200,000 mile Conway International Prostar... *knocks on imitation hardwood* ####, is that supposed to be loose?

Haha ! #### I always drive during the day and that's just because that's what I'm used too and all our loads ship and recieve during day unless facility is 24 hours.

Is 2300 average miles for you??
Why you leaving?? I thought conway was a good company. LOL! When I hauled flatbed I always hauled most freight out of california and stayed in Midwest for the 3 weeks I was out. Texas, Nebraska, Ohio, missouri, etc.
    thanks for the info !

Not sure! But here at JB HUNT I get about 1800-2000 miles a week and yeah home every 2-3 weeks. I'm just looking for more miles and I do like being home every 2-3 weeks. I don't mind staying in the mid-west im used to that with my old company. I left california with one load to texas and then never went back to california until I requested HomeTime after 2 or 3 weeks.

Conway has bigger trucks than JB hunt too and that's a big plus too. Our sleepers are only 48"-53. Most normal sleepers are 70". I know
