I'm going on 67 in 09/25 and have no known health problems. I have many years of auto transport experience. . I was with Moore Transport for 7 1/2 years until they closed their doors. I'm currently with Proficient Auto Transport. I can't seem to find an employer that can give me what I'm looking for as far as lanes of travel. I am considering buying a used truck to meet my goals. (link below) 2018 VOLVO VAH62200 For Sale in Jacksonville, Florida I've never owned a truck before but I understand the key elements to operating succesfully from conversing with other O/O's in this division. I like the daycabs primarily for 3 reasons. You can load more on the tractor, they're lighter(payload) and I stay in hotels 4 times a week for layovers. I've always ran Sun thru Thursdays and home Fri and Sat. I want to get my house paid off before I retire. ($100,000) I feel like I have about another 4 yrs before I'm ready to hang the keys up for good. Any advice/views are appreciated. Thank you Drivers
It works well for me and others I know. A used truck is a crap shoot, it may be great and it may suck!
