And I grew up around diesels and drove diesels for 30 years before a dpf was ever put on a truck.........

I know a guy that has an old Melton truck. He had it overhauled and deleted at a local shop. A few thousand miles later it takes a dump between Springfield and Joplin Mo. So he has it towed to Kenworth in Joplin. The service manager calls him and says I believe this truck has got to have like 25k of work just for us to diagnose it. Another words till all the emissions crap was returned to working order they would not even look at it
