Any body heard of this? Warranty work ?

when I had my 2009 389 it had a Cat and all the regen bugs. I mentioned the word Delete when I paid 4200 for ARD head, dpf cleaning,sensors and etc. I was told if you do that you will not be able to use our shop anymore(Rush). I told him that's great and got the delete. I never seen him again and never spent on average 9000 a year on regen issues. Find a mechanic small shop and they wont even ask.

 

Funny thing is most of you folks probably have no clue that when a 2007 or newer diesel engine goes into regen, all the pollution controls like EGR turn off and the engine runs "dirty".

 

Where'd you come up with that? Regen just adjusts to heat the canister and finish burning larger soot particles.

 

I’m glad I didn’t have to rely on my seatbelt in my old FLD. I unbolted the top part of the shoulder strap and moved them down because I had low base seats. The seatbelt was purely for show when I was crossing a scale.
