I worked for New Line in the Tampa Terminal and I will tell you who they are. They are owned by CEMEX. CEMEX bought Rinker in 2006 and New Line was part of Rinker. So CEMEX decided to use them but the driver would be Owner Operators. This is how they make money with New Line Transport.... they will sell the unsuspecting driver a used truck, then chains, binders, head rack etc..., then they will pay for repairs but with a percentage charge included. They make money on the repairs of an aging truck. Loads pay are about what Michael Edell said, 42 cents a mile. The other is driver paying dispatchers under the table for the best paying loads. This happened in Miami Terminal. If you have a paid truck, I suggest find another company and CRST Malone out of Birmingham Alabama is the same thing. They are worst!
Any body know anything about new line transport ?
