Any body on here know one arm trucker!

I only ever personally knew of one. When they came up with the cdl and all it entailed they would not let him have one, it took him a while to get a waiver and back in a truck (his own) I never heard any mention of trouble with insurance back then, but times have changed.

All kidding aside, years ago we had a fellow work for us that ha a hook for his left hand.

 

I saw a guy with his right hand missing. I assume he had an automatic. Also saw a guy on crutches.

You know, I was reading a list of things that limit a guy to a dot physical that is only good for an instate license here, and unless I am mistaken, a missing limb was on that list.
I know one blind eye was for sure, and one of the drivers that works for the company my wife works for was at the eye doctor the other day. He has gone blind in one eye and couldn't drive anymore. the company was kicking the idea around to buy him an under cdl size truck, until I told him about the instate deal. He was one happy camper.
