Pretty sure I'm going to be headed to Orientation in a week or so as my options are few based on a felony drug sales conviction. I'm wondering if anyone can explain how home time works with this company. I was told by the recruiter that this company primarily does Florida and California runs with 12-15 days out at a time and 5 days home time. But I heard you are required to find your own way home on your off days. That they don't schedule you to be in your area around your off days because your team driving and the truck doesn't stop. Anyone with recent first hand knowledge please fill me in...
Any Carolina Cargo drivers or recent ex - drivers can you help...

Good luck at Carolina Cargo. It's going to suck but remember.... your doing it to gain experience.

Thanks TruckDuo I'm pretty much expecting it to suck but like you said I need that experience and I also know that some bad decisions in my past put me in the position to not have very many options so I'm actually looking forward to this whole process. Giving it 6 months to a year of safe responsible driving and hopefully finding a better company willing to give me a chance.
